The Central Java Provincial Government and IOJI signed a Joint Agreement (KSB) on May 23 2023 with a focus on Strengthening the Protection and Empowerment of Migrant Fishing Vessel Crew and Fisheries Business Actors in Central Java Province. As a follow-up to this commitment, IOJI collaborated with the Central Java Provincial Government to draft Central Java Governor Regulation No. 25 of 2024 concerning Prevention and Handling of Human Trafficking Crimes. The next step involves IOJI, the Department of Manpower and Transmigration, and the Central Java PMI Protection Services Center (BP3MI) in preparing a Draft Regulation of the Governor of Central Java regarding Strategy and Action Plan for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers
