Andreas is a law activist in the maritime field. He earned a law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (2014) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley with a specialization in Environmental Law (2022).

Currently Andreas is a Senior Advisor for Maritime Security in the Indonesia Ocean Justice Initiative. Previously, he was the legal counsel for the Task Force on the Eradication of Illegal Fishing formed by the President in 2015.
Andreas is also an alumnus of the Rhodes Academy of Oceans Law and Policy (2016) and the United Nations-Nippon Foundation Fellowship Program (2019).
