Grace Gabriella Binowo, S.H.
After graduating, Grace worked as an intern at Rajah & Tann LLP Singapore and continued as a trainee associate at Ginting & Reksodiputro Law Firm until early 2015. She then joined as a member in the Presidential Task Force to Combat Illegal Fishing during Minister Susi Pudjiastuti’s administration in 2015-2019.

In 2015-2016, she was involved in the analysis and evaluation of ex-foreign fishing vessels while also developing the ministerial regulation on system and certification of human rights in fishing industry. 2017-2019, she was the team coordinator for a project on analysis and evaluation of domestic fishing vessels, and actively advocating on combatting fisheries crime issues as the member of INTERPOL Fisheries Crime Working Group.
Currently, Grace is focusing on developing policy related to sustainable ocean economy, national maritime security strategy and activities for the prevention and fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and fisheries crime. She earned her bachelor degree from the Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia.
